How do I find an item?
Head to the Search tab and type a name, tag, category, or container. Every result shows exactly which space and container the item lives in — finding something is as fast as remembering you own it.
What is AI Smart Search?
Search by meaning, not exact words. Type 'warm jacket for skiing' or 'that fancy kitchen gadget' and AI Smart Search matches items by what they are, even if you named them something completely different. It's a SnapFind Pro feature — ✨ Smart matches appear automatically under your regular results whenever you search.
Can I search with Siri?
Yes! Go to Settings > Siri Voice Search and install the shortcut. Then just say 'Hey Siri, search SnapFind for Christmas lights' and your results open hands-free.
How do tags make search better?
Tags cut across containers and categories. The AI adds tags automatically, and you can add your own like 'fragile', 'holiday', or 'sentimental'. Tag decorations across five different bins with 'Christmas' and pull them all up with a single search.
Do I need to switch between Keyword and AI search?
No — there's just one search box now. Fast keyword matches appear instantly for everyone, and Pro members see a ✨ Smart matches section stream in automatically below them. On the free plan, when keywords come up empty you'll see a preview of what Smart Search found.
