Locations

Locations are the top level of your organization — a way to group your spaces by home or property. If you keep stuff in more than one place — your house and a lake house, home and an office, or a storage unit across town — create a location for each and file your spaces under it. On the Spaces tab, your locations appear as tabs so you can jump between properties, and an 'All' tab always shows everything at once.

Long-press any space you own and tap Location. Pick an existing location, or type a name like '🏖️ Lake House' and tap Create & assign to make the location and file the space in one step. Start the name with an emoji and it becomes the location's icon. You can also add and manage locations from the location tabs at the top of the Spaces tab.

Free members get 1 location; upgrading unlocks up to 5. There's no limit on how many spaces you can file under a single location.

Nothing happens to the spaces themselves — they just become unassigned and move back under the 'All' view. Deleting a location never deletes or moves the spaces, containers, or items inside it, and you can reassign them to another location anytime.

Long-press the space and tap Location again, then pick a different location — or choose 'No location' to unassign it. You can move a space between locations as often as you like.

No. Locations are private to you and are never shared. Shared spaces don't show up in your location tabs, and collaborators can't see or set locations — everyone organizes their own spaces however they like.
