How does AI scanning work?

Point your camera at an item and tap capture. The AI identifies it and suggests a name, category, estimated value, and searchable tags — usually within seconds. You can edit any field before saving, or just accept the suggestions and keep moving.

Can I capture several items in one photo?

Yes! Switch the camera to Multi mode (a Pro feature), photograph a whole shelf or pile, and SnapFind draws a box around each item it spots, then analyzes them individually. Review the detections, dismiss any you don't want, and save the rest — each becomes its own item.

What is Rapid Capture?

Speed mode for big cataloging jobs. Snap photo after photo without stopping to fill out forms — each shot uploads and processes in the background while you keep shooting. Thumbnails collect at the bottom of the screen so you can review and tweak everything once you're done. Perfect for clearing an entire closet in minutes.

Can I add items without taking a photo?

Yes! In any container, tap the add button and choose the keyboard option to type or paste a list — the AI parses lines like '3 coffee mugs' or 'iPad $600' into proper items. Or choose the microphone option and simply say what you're adding.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Everything the AI suggests is editable — tap any item to fix its name, category, value, or tags. Want more control? Settings > AI & Automation lets you choose which fields the AI fills in automatically.

How many AI scans do I get?

Unlimited — every plan includes unlimited AI scanning. The difference is speed. Free accounts start with 30 Instant AI scans; after those, scans join the standard queue and typically take 15–50 seconds depending on usage and server load at the time. SnapFind Pro and Teams always skip the line — every scan processes immediately. You can also earn extra instant scans in Settings > Get Free Scans.

How do I add an item to a container?

Open the container and tap the add button. You can snap a photo and let AI name it for you — single shots, Rapid Capture for big cataloging jobs, or Multi mode to catch several items in one photo — type or paste a list of items, or tap the microphone and say what you're adding.
