Moving Mode

Go to the Scan tab and scan one of the QR code stickers from your Moving Kit. The box will be automatically created and organized by room type. You can also tap the "+" button on the Boxes screen to create a box manually.

Each sticker is labeled with a room type and number (e.g., Kitchen 1, Bedroom 2). Stick them on your moving boxes and scan them to instantly create a digital inventory of that box.

Yes! Tap the "+" button on the Boxes screen and choose "Create manually." This is handy if you run out of stickers or want to add extra boxes.

Open your move and tap "Plan rooms" to open the room planner. To rename a custom room, tap the pencil icon on its chip and enter the new name — all of its boxes and packing progress follow along. To remove a room, long-press its chip and confirm: custom rooms are removed from your plan, and Custom A/B labels reset back to "Custom A" and "Custom B" so you can name them again later. Rooms that already contain boxes can’t be removed — they’re part of your move as long as they have boxes in them. Standard rooms like Kitchen or Bedroom can simply be tapped to select or deselect them.

Use the Search tab to find any item by name, description, or category. AI Smart Search lets you search naturally — try "winter clothes" or "kitchen utensils" to find items across all your boxes.

Point your camera at items and tap the capture button. Our AI automatically identifies items, suggests names, categories, and estimated values. You can edit any details before saving.

Yes! Open a box, select items using bulk selection (long press), then choose "Move to another box" from the action menu.

After 6 months, you'll have three options: extend moving mode for another 6 months, migrate your items to a permanent SnapFind account, or delete your account. Your data is always preserved until you choose.

When your moving mode is about to expire, you'll see a banner on the Boxes screen. Tap it to extend for another 6 months with a one-time fee.

SnapFind is a full home inventory app with spaces, containers, QR code organization, checked out tracking, collaboration, and more. When your move is complete, you can migrate all your items into a permanent SnapFind account to keep organizing your new home.
