Starts you with

"Use this template in SnapFind" creates these spaces and containers in your account. Anything you already have with the same name is reused.

  • 🏢 Main office

    • Equipment closet
    • Front desk
  • 🏭 Warehouse

    • Shelf 1
    • Cage

How to use it

  1. 1Serial numbers are what insurers and warranty desks ask for. Fill them in once.
  2. 2Mark Checked Out "Yes" for anything out right now. In SnapFind you can then add who has it and when it is due back.
  3. 3Print a QR label for each container so anyone can scan to see what is inside.

AI shortcut

Skip the typing

Photograph a shelf in the SnapFind app and every item it sees becomes a row. The columns marked ✨ fill themselves.

In this template, a photo fills:

  • Name
  • Category
  • Quantity
  • Value (each)
  • Tags

Values are AI estimates you can change. You add the rest, like serial numbers and dates, only where you need them.

Import it into SnapFind

  1. 1

Print a QR label for each container. Anyone on your team can scan it to see what is inside.

Questions

What is the difference between an asset register and an inventory list?
An inventory list tracks stock you use up or sell. An asset register tracks things you keep: equipment, tools, electronics. This template has the columns an asset register needs, like serial number and purchase date.
Are these templates free?
Yes. Download as many as you like; there is no sign-up and no email required.
Do they work in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. The .xlsx file opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. The CSV opens anywhere and is the file SnapFind imports.
How do I import a filled-in template into SnapFind?
Save it as CSV, then open the SnapFind app and go to Settings → Import Data. The column names already match, so the import starts straight away.
