Starts you with

"Use this template in SnapFind" creates these spaces and containers in your account. Anything you already have with the same name is reused.

  • 🏬 Stockroom

    • Shelf A
    • Shelf B
    • Overflow bin
  • 🚚 Back office

    • Supply cabinet

How to use it

  1. 1Keep one row per item, not one row per box. The Container column says which box.
  2. 2Put the price of ONE unit in Value (each). SnapFind multiplies by Quantity for totals.
  3. 3Separate tags with a semicolon, like "shipping; fragile".

AI shortcut

Skip the typing

Photograph a shelf in the SnapFind app and every item it sees becomes a row. The columns marked ✨ fill themselves.

In this template, a photo fills:

  • Name
  • Category
  • Quantity
  • Value (each)
  • Tags

Values are AI estimates you can change. You add the rest, like serial numbers and dates, only where you need them.

Import it into SnapFind

  1. 1

    One click

Choose "Use this template in SnapFind". The spaces and containers are created in your account, ready to fill from your phone.

  2. 2

    Or bring the sheet

Fill in the template, save it as CSV, and import it in the SnapFind app under Settings → Import Data. Every column is recognised; there is nothing to map.

  3. 3

    Then label it

Print a QR label for each container. Anyone on your team can scan it to see what is inside.

Questions

Can I add my own columns?
Yes. Columns SnapFind does not recognise are skipped on import, so extra columns never break anything. Notes is a good home for anything that does not fit.
Are these templates free?
Yes. Download as many as you like; there is no sign-up and no email required.
Do they work in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. The .xlsx file opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. The CSV opens anywhere and is the file SnapFind imports.
How do I import a filled-in template into SnapFind?
Save it as CSV, then open the SnapFind app and go to Settings → Import Data. The column names already match, so the import starts straight away.
